Kicking off SuperInvestor in Zurich this week, Ely Place Partners’ Daniel Roddick moderated the panel “With purpose but without control: ESG and impact within private debt” as part of the Private Debt Summit.

He was joined by Nicole Waibel from Crescent Capital Group LP, Raphael Betti from European Investment Fund (EIF), and Danny Vroegop from Colesco Capital to explore the measures that fund managers are implementing to adhere to sustainability requirements in situations where they may lack control. They also discussed the importance of standardised data collection and reporting on ESG metrics and how managers can keep up with shifting LP requirements.
